After a Bachelor’s degree in History, Archaeology and the History of Art at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), I received my MSc in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology from Leiden University, The Netherlands in 2016. I am currently a joint PhD candidate at the Groningen Institute of Archaeology and The Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center (STARC) of The Cyprus Institute. My research focuses on theorizing dietary preferences in Roman Macedonia and on conceptualizing how different social groups within the province experienced life under the Roman Empire through the osteological, dental microscopic and biochemical analysis of human skeletal remains.
